ALL IN-YOUR-HOME VISITS (Pet Sitting, Dog Walking, etc.)

ARE BILLED BASED ON THE LENGTH OF THE VISIT AND THE LOCATION (DISTANCE FROM LEE, MA),

NOT on the number of pets!

We use GOOGLE MAPS to determine distance/travel time from our home in Lee, MA.

NOTE: The prices listed are GUIDELINES. Actual prices will be determined at the initial consultation visit (for services that are performed in your home) and may need to be adjusted based on the actual amount of time that is required for each visit. It may take 2-3 visits to determine the actual amount of time that is needed.

An initial consultation appointment

is required for all services that will

be performed in your home. There

is a non-refundable fee for this visit.

A standard dog walking visit

is up to 30 minutes.

We do NOT walk more

than two(2) dogs at a time.

All dogs must be ON-LEASH.

EMERGENCY/ON-CALL VISITS

When you are away from home and

need to have a someone check on your

pet, do an assessment and/or provide

care as needed. Visits that are not

scheduled will be fit in and done as

soon as possible.

$25 PLUS the regular visit fee

While we can almost always provide

traditional pet sitting/dog walking visits on short-notice,

we ask that you please provide us with

as much advance notice as possible.

We plan our schedule at least a week in advance.

Any last minute changes that require

changing and/or rescheduling

of other appointments will

incur a $10 administrative fee

for the additional time that is required.
ALL changes must be approved in advance.

our home for clients who live within our

immediate service area.

Pets are not allowed out of our care and custody

once a scheduled service period begins.

As of 1/1/2024: NO CHECK-INS or CHECK-OUTS

will be done on weekends or holidays without prior

approval. An additional fee may apply.

PAYMENT

Payment made after a

service starts will incur

SERVICE CREDITS ONLY.

There will be a LAST-MINUTE BOOKING FEE

for all changes or add-ons

with less than 48-hours advance notice.

NOTE: Due to the way that pets interact with one another, minor cuts and scratches can occur even though pets are carefully supervised at all times. They may also end up getting dirty and/or with other signs of being outside(i.e., dirt, mud, grass, burdocks, bug bites, etc.). When time permits, we will do our best to dry off, clean and remove debris. There may be times when this is not possible. We do not provide grooming/bathing services. If this is not acceptable, then we recommend keeping your pet isolated and away from others, although they can certainly obtain the same simply from being outside and/or rolling around on the ground, etc.

By booking services with us, you acknowledge and accept this fact. Berkshire Pet Pals, LLC is not responsible for how pets act or behave and anything that may happen as a result thereof. We encourage pets to play and have fun(when it is safe to do so, of course) while in our care and custody.

Sorry, but WE DO NOT OFFER DISCOUNTS. Our rates are fair and reasonable for the quality of service that we provide. Please remember that we are FULLY insured/bonded/certified and licensed by local, state and federal agencies.

LIMITED PRIVATE BOARDING

Private boarding rates are based on the number of calendar days including the day of arrival AND the day of departure (regardless of the actual time of check-in and check-out). We have found that this billing method assures our clients that the room will be clean and ready for occupancy upon arrival. It also means that the room will be "theirs" until the end of the business day on the scheduled day of departure AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. This provides everyone with peace of mind if there should be any unexpected delays or sudden changes.

Please remember that our space, time and sitter availability are VERY LIMITED.

Sorry, but there will be no discounts/refunds for early returns, late departures or last minute changes. We may make exceptions for TRUE EMERGENCIES (death in the family, serious medical emergencies, etc.), but not for repeat incidents or simply for convenience.

We do not overbook or double-book and any such changes often result in a loss of revenue and/or client(s) for us.

IF your plans should change, it is important that you inform us IMMEDIATELY. While the room is yours until the end of the business day on the day of your check-out appointment, if you should need additional days, there is no guarantee that the room will be available. We will do always do our best to accommodate last minute changes, but there may be times when we are simply not able to. In those rare cases, we will work with you to find an alternative solution.

We ask that you do your best to keep all scheduled appointments. If you must change the time, please contact us as soon as possible. If we are not immediately available to accommodate your request, then you may need to wait and/or reschedule your appointment and an additional fee may apply. ALL changes must be approved by us. A written confirmation of the changes will be sent upon immediately upon approval.

All check-ins and check-outs are done BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

Due to our limited availability and busy schedule, we do not accept WALK-INS.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are >30 minutes early or late for your scheduled appointment, then we may not be immediately available to meet with you! We ask that you please respect our business policies and procedures. If we are busy with other clients, then we may need to reschedule your appointment. Any additional time required will be billed at the regular rate.

ALL of our clients are important to us and we will always do our best to accommodate any changes as they arise.

Scheduled appointments always take precedence over any last minute changes.

While we understand that sometimes last minute changes are inevitable and unforeseen, we also have a business to run and other clients to service. One delay or change creates a domino effect and often results in all subsequent appointments being late. When we are not able to accommodate last minute changes, we will let you know and work with you to find a mutually acceptable alternative. Please note that if any changes occur outside of our normal business hours, it may be necessary to reschedule to the next business day.
